In the words of founders Rowan and Robbie…

Why and Who are we…..

We are two Yoga teachers for over 20 years with a love of Truth & Movement.

We are gathering people, artists and tutors who are also motivated by what they love more than unconscious agendas. We love genuine depth that comes from clearer seeing. There is enough in the world that is motivated by something else.

Our practice is to move in open, honest and true ways. To honour our energy levels and to support each other. How we put this event on is as important as the event itself. Our main set up team are all friends who offer help free, from the love in their hearts.

We hope to see you there…

JuiceSmart Logo Design

JuiceSmart_Logo

JuiceSmart is a simple concept. Six cold-pressed juices delivered straight to your doorstep twice a week. 70% Vegetables + 30% Fruit = 100% goodness!

Sean Levey, JuiceSmart founder, set a clear objective for the JuiceSmart company and its team, he sees a world where everyone is living life to the full, with optimum health, living in a sustainable way. Sean created a model for growth from the start to run JuiceSmart as sustainably as possible, delivering juices in re-usable bottles and neoprene carriers with electric powered vehicles, run by renewable energy.

Sean was looking for a clean, simple logo design and infographics to reflect the simplicity of the JuiceSmart concept.

“As a personal trainer it was my job to make results inevitable for my clients and to improve their health. I knew, as many of us do, that nutrition is the foundation of health, and fresh vegetables and fruit are the foundation of nutrition – these are the earth grown foods we evolved to eat. In the world we live in today we don’t have the time to be chomping through fresh raw vegetables for 8 hours a day like a chimpanzee does. We need healthy food but at the same time we need fast food, that is what JuiceSmart is.”

Ma Bolton’s Logo Design

Kate started making gluten and dairy free food 7 years ago when she discovered that she couldn’t tolerate wheat and her children were suffering with eczema. Kate discovered that there was, and still is, little joy in the “free from” food available to buy. As a total foodie Kate lives for good flavours; food that makes you want to sing, and brings pleasure in the giving and receiving.  The free from options available were taking away her enjoyment of food so the experimentation began and Kates friends and work colleagues became tasters for her new creations. The feedback was really positive and Kate was encouraged to cook for others.

Kate enjoys taking fresh ingredients and, sometimes, unexpected ingredients and turns them into beautiful tasty healthier bakes.

Gluten-free baked goods can often be devoid of nutrient value as the starchy flours needed to put the glutinous structure back in are so highly processed. Kate experiments in order to achieve a balance of good flavours and nutritional content in her ‘flavour adventure’ creations.

Kate uses vegetables in most of her gluten-free baking as they add moisture, structure and nutrients. Kates signature bake in the early days was a Beetroot Gateaux which at the time was a rare thing. Chocolate Beetroot Cake has become popular now but in the beginning her beetroot gateaux was regularly requested and Kate was often invited to events on its taste alone.  ‘You are the lady that makes beetroot cake’ remains a firm favourite with her customers. This story is the source of inspiration for Kates new logo design.

Kate also grows fruits and vegetables in her garden which she uses to create a range of preserves and jams. Perfect for spreading onto her gluten-free scones!

Vegan Heart Cakes Logo Design

VeganHeartCakes_Logo_blog

Vegan Heart Cakes is a vegan cake company based in Bournemouth, specialising in homemade baked and raw cakes.

Jo Tyszczuk is the creator of Vegan Heart Cakes. Jo approached me to create a logo design for her business. She was looking for a logo based on a heart shape, and a design that reflected her passion for vegan baking. I am really inspired by Jos story and her enthusiasm for setting up her own business.

Originally from Poland, Jo has lived in Bournemouth for over 10 years. Two years ago, when her son Zen was born Jo decided to make some life changing decisions and started following a vegan lifestyle. Jo realised that there was a growing demand for vegan treats in the Bournemouth area and following her passion for baking she took the next step and set up her own business, Vegan Heart Cakes.

Jo now supplies cakes to local cafés in the Bournemouth area, including Flirt Café Bar, Espresso Kitchen, The Crooked Book, The Vintage Emporium Tea Rooms, Deli Rocks and Mocha Turtle. Jo makes cakes to order and also has pop up stalls at local vegan events.

Spiral Moon Logo Design

 SpiralMoonBlogPost

Over the past few months I have been working with Helen Gialias to rebrand her homeopathy business, Spiral Moon. Helen specialises in women’s health and supporting women through life transitions.

The Spiral Moon logo design is based on the triple goddess symbol which represents the three stages in the female life cycle (the Maiden, the Mother and the Crone) and also the changing phases of the moon. The triple spiral, or Triskele is one of the ancient Goddess symbols of the Celts. It represents the Triple Goddess, and is associated with the Celtic Goddess Brighid. The Triskele is also used to represent the three realms of land, sea, and sky.

The colour red enhances the symbolism of the logo design. It is the colour of blood and the first colour we come into contact with when we are born. Red also represents the first, root chakra located at the base of the spine. It is the colour of grounding and establishes the deepest connections with the physical body, the environment and the Earth. The energy of the root chakra allows us to harness courage, resourcefulness and connects us with the spiritual energies of our ancestors, their challenges and their triumphs.

Red is a colour of action. It moves us, awakens us, and guides us towards change. It is the colour of passion, revolution, movement and invokes the energy of love.

Working with Helen has been an amazing experience. I am inspired by her warmth and the support she gives to so many women throughout their healing journey.

Helen Gialias, Homeopath & Red Tent facilitator

Helen came from an English teaching background which took her to live in Greece for many years. Back in the UK, as a result of her own transformational Homeopathic treatment, she chose to change career and qualify as a Homeopath. She has run a private practice in Bournemouth, UK for the last fourteen years. During that time, the large numbers of women of all ages coming for help with issues around life stages and transitions led Helen to develop a passionate interest in educating and healing women around these key rites of passage and their menstrual cycle.

Alongside homeopathy, Helen now offers mentoring and support for women going through changes such as first menstruation, motherhood or menopause and for women facing difficult life circumstances such as bereavement, divorce or redundancy. She also offers womb blessings, womb healing and mentoring to awaken and revitalise the womb energy centre and its female archetypal energies and bring self-empowerment, self-confidence and well-being.

Helen also facilitates Red Tent Bournemouth (Dorset, UK) and runs workshops educating women about the rites of passage from Menarche to Menopause.

I’ve been making more time to get creative (whilst covered in acrylic paint) at my local printing studio recently.

Living by the sea is a constant source of inspiration. The colours and light change every day, from sunrise to sunset. Inspired by my surroundings I’ve created a series of screen printed seascapes working with layering and blended colours. I love working with colour. More to follow…

A selection of my screen prints are available to view here…

I’m currently exhibiting a couple of prints at the Russell-Cotes gallery in Bournemouth and a few local stores also stock my prints including www.hintonshome.com, vegan café Mad Cucumber in Bournemouth www.madcucumber.com and Sweet Greens in Charminster www.sweet-greens.com

Commissions undertaken.
